Spring is a great time for new beginnings. I have not posted in awhile, because I have been busy working behind the scenes, making a new home for my blog, now called Dragonfly Home Recipes, at www.dragonflyhomerecipes.com. I decided to take the leap to a self-hosted site, in order to give my blog more flexibility, more space to grow, and a name all its own. It is still very much the same blog, but with more options available to me.
There have been some definite technical challenges to overcome, and there are still some minor technical glitches to work out, but with the help of one of my tech-savvy brothers and WordPress technical support, I am ready to call my new space home. I have transferred my followers to my new blog address, so if you were already following dragonflyhome.wordpress.com via email, you will continue to get emails when there are new posts. If you were following dragonflyhome via WordPress.com, my new posts will still appear in your WordPress.com reader.
I look forward to sharing more delicious recipes, musing about savoring the beauty of life through food, and connecting with all of you at www.dragonflyhomerecipes.com. Thank you to all of you for continuing to make this blogging adventure so much fun!
Yes!!! You did it Jenny 🙂 It looks great. Congratulations on your new “blog home”.
Thank you!
Congratulations, Jenny! Getting your very on domain is challenging, but so worth it. I am finally starting to settle out a little now. It is best to do it as soon as possible. I wish I had taken the plunge a long time before I did. I look forward to seeing new posts on your new blog space. 🙂
Thanks, Debbie. It is indeed challenging! There are so many little details to take care of! But it is very exciting too.
